Messing About on the River

A maritime themed talk given by Pete Smith.

Pete is a university teacher who read English at Cambridge before qualifying as a City of London Guide. He writes, lectures and leads walks on anything from ‘Macabre Smooth Field’ (Smithfield), during London Month of the Dead, to 'London Bridges' during the Thames Festival. Also tournaments, processions and buried treasure. He is the author of 'A-Z London Hidden Walks’, a colourful invitation to discover 20 walking routes in and around the city, including lesser-known circuits and some popular well trod paths.
