Jubilee Stone

To commemorate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, a memorial stone was laid in King’s Stairs Gardens, and unveiled by Her Majesty, in 1977. This was replaced by a new stone in 2002 to mark the Queen’s Golden Jubilee; to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, a further inscription was added to this stone. The simple, upright carving can be found on the Thames Path along the riverfront.
