The Rotherhithe & Bermondsey Local History Society is an informal group which encourages a shared interest in the history of the local area; all are welcome to join or to attend as guests.

Membership benefits include:

•  Admission to all our meetings.

•  Exclusive access to our two historical walks or visits in June and July.​

•  Copies of our magazine The Redriffe Chronicle.

•  Updates and invitations to historical events run by other history societies and organisations.

Becoming a member is easy:

1. Either come along to your first meeting and hand your form to one of the committee members, or email it to our Membership Registrar at membership@rbhistory.org.uk 

2. Membership costs only £12.00 for the year (1st April to 31st March).

3. Details of payment methods are on the form.

If you are unsure whether you would like to join but wish to attend to hear a particular speaker then you are warmly welcome. All we ask for is a nominal £3 donation which can be paid on the door. If you would like to become a member at the meeting then please speak to a committee member who will provide a membership form.
